Join our celebration of a 100-year old German tradition! Lanternfest is a traditional event for children to participate in a procession of paper lanterns in remembrance of St. Martin. Students make their own lanterns at AEA and then gather to sing songs. Our lantern walk will take place in Balboa Park, starting at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion at 6pm. Don’t forget your lantern for the evening lantern walk – free lights provided at the event. Light snacks will be available for purchase! A great way to help our community, while celebrating as a community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When: Wednesday, November 12th <\/strong>– Lantern walk begins at 6PM<\/strong>

Traditional WECKM\u00c4NNER (sweet yeast buns) will be sold at dismissal at the elementary school for $6.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pease donate new and gently used coats of all sizes, as well as non-perishable food items to be shared with those in need in our community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collection boxes will be located at the front office<\/strong> walking gate during drop-off & pick-up November 10th\u201314th<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
