2017-18 Biweekly PTA Newsletter
Issue date 09-08-2017
Welcome backWelcome back to school to all of our returning and new Albert Einstein Academies (AEA) Families! My name is Brant Robinson and I am excited and honored to be your new Parent Teacher Association (PTA) president. You will receive a newsletter from us every two weeks to let you know about all of the important events happening around the schools and ways that you can get involved. Your PTA (also called “Friends of Albert Einstein Academies”) plays an important role in connecting parents, teachers, and school administrators in order to achieve our common goal of providing all students at AEA with a world-class education. We hope that you will visit our website (www.foaea.org) and browse the other articles in this letter to find out how you can get involved through volunteering, participation, and fundraising. Every member of our community has a talent or resource that we need in order to be successful as an organization. I look forward to meeting and working with each and every one of you – thank you in advance for your generosity and support of our children’s futures!
-Brant Robinson

Welcome Back to School!

Thank you for making the Welcome Back BBQ a huge success! Parent volunteers at our PTA community events are vital to their success and we appreciate the time and effort you put into making them such great welcoming events.
We enjoyed reaquainting ourselves with familiar faces and meeting new parents at the BBQ. We hope that you got a chance to see us at our Campaign Table at the event, and we hope to get the chance to see you on either campus at one of our future events or at a monthly PTA meeting. Please be sure to check out our Events Calendar and our PTA Meeting Schedule to find out more.

Middle School Community Announcements

Used Uniform Thanks
A gigantic THANK YOU to everyone who donated to, and shopped at, our back-to-school used uniform sale. We couldn’t do it without all of you. Our next used uniform sale will be in January. Please continue to donate all unwanted uniforms at the front desk with April and Maggie so we can reduce, reuse and recycle as many of our fabulous uniforms as possible. Questions? Just email Amy Lanners.
Teacher Wish List
Our MS Teacher Wish List is up and running on SignUpGenius.com. We update this permanent list throughout the year as our teachers request supplies for their classrooms, parties, special units, beautification and student enrichment. We notify the entire community via email and newsletters when teachers make requests, so please make sure you are on the MS email list. Keep your eyes open for the Oktoberfest and Dia de los Muertos party wishes coming soon. Thank you in advance. Our community never ceases to amaze with its generosity and support. It means the world to our teachers and students. Questions? Just email Amy Lanners.
